Halo Reach: Warthog

Warthog: 100km/h (62mph)

The M12 Force Application Vehicle, more widely known as the Warthog, is a highly mobile, all-wheel-drive, all-wheel-steering, ICE-powered vehicle equipped with a manual transmission. The M12 can be configured to become a troop carrier, armament carrier, ambulance, reconnaissance vehicle, or communications vehicle. All M12-based vehicles are designed to travel both on and off-road, in all weather conditions.

This land roaming vehicle me  be the most popular in the Halo Games. This vehicle can go through almost any terrain with little to no difficulty. It may be easier to take down, but with a good Spartan as your Turret Man, enemies will  find it troublesome to stay alive before even trying to strike an attack.

Consists Of:

  • One Turret (Does Overheat)
  • One Passenger Seat (Passenger can use Normal Weapon to Shoot)
  • One Driver
  • Heavy Tiers that withstand dangerous terrain

If you have a good crew of 3, the Warthog is right for you. Enemies will have difficulty shooting you down as long as you have a good Turret Man. If your Turret Man cannot shoot for their life, enemies will either board you, or use heavy artillery to take you down.

The bus warthog is only found in campaign mode, though you can see one outside the boundries on the multiplayer map “The Pit”. The bus warthog has no turret, but instead has extra room to carry more three more passengers in the back. It should be noted though, that the Master Chief cannot ride in the back seat.

These are only found on Sandtrap. They are extremely slow, and are practically mobile bases. The driver is well protected and is only vunerable from the rear. There is also a turret mounted next to the driver’s seat that has 360 degree rotation. Unless the map has been forged, under the driver’s seat a mongoose is parked, and their is a regular machine gun turret on the vehicle, that can be detached.
